After reading the reviews I honestly did not know what to expect other than great towing. I heard everything from "it makes the truck ride like sh*t, but it tows great" to "I don't even know they're there and it tows great"....so I pulled the trigger and installed them on my 2013 Tundra. Install was fairly simple. The only thing that went wrong was the kit came with one bolt for the top bracket that was too large. I luckily had a similar bolt in my garage that worked just fine. Install was fairly easy if you have intermediate experience with tools and mechanical concept. I just used my jack that came with the truck to lift up by the tow package on a flat surface with the parking brake on and chocked front tires (maybe not the safest method but it worked great) I didn't even have to take the wheels off. All this does is make it more accessible to cut the factory bump stops, but this can be done just as effectively with the wheels on the truck. I also recommend measuring and cutting the u bolts before install. The nylon nuts take FOREVER to tighten all the way down if you don't. When doing this, just make sure you smooth out the edges and make sure they thread properly before install. I decided to run the air valves through the top two license plate holes and use them as the plate holding screws to make it look flush instead of drilling two extra holes in my bumper. To do this, you just need to widen the holes slightly with a step bit or carefully with a standard drill bit. Also, I would recommend running the lines first from the bumper to the air bag so you can measure length better and cut what you need. I did not do this and I ended up with a ton of extra line I had to zip tie up under the truck. Once this was done I went back and torqued all the bolts to spec and lowered the truck down and went to inflate the bags and check for leaks. Now, I had heard complaints saying that the ride was rough even with only 4-5 psi in them. I filled them up to 20psi, checked for leaks by spraying water on the air valve and took it for a test drive. I went on the bumpiest roads I could find around me and in all honesty, I could not tell a huge difference. It seemed slightly stiffer, but at the same time I am 25 and don't complain much about a rough ride. By no means though does it ride like a 3/4 or 1 ton 2500 or 3500 truck. I can see from the slight stiffness why some people complain, but it does not bother me at all.I also have a 2.5" leveling kit in the front (no rear lift prior to bags). I spoke with another guy on here who told me he was running the same leveling kit and his truck was no longer level. This may or may not be true, but it is too close to tell. I think my tool box may give an optical illusion that the truck sits perfectly level. I felt my front end was slightly higher before I installed the bags, but now I feel like it is perfect. This weekend I will be towing my 20' toy hauler and I will follow up on the performance. 4 stars for now because of the wrong sized bolt and damaged packaging.UPDATE: Towed my 20' toy hauler this past weekend. Aired bags to 25psi (trailer weighs 7,000 fully loaded) and it towed like a dream. Suspension wise, I could not even tell I was towing the trailer. The only thing that made me remember I was towing was the engine/RPM noise. Between my weight distribution hitch and the bags I had virtually zero trailer sway. The only issue I have is the washers on the bolts are getting pulled through the holes. The nuts are torqued to manufacturer spec, but the washers seem really cheap and are malleable. I will replace these with some larger grade 8s and it should solve the problem. Other than that zero issues or complaints.Love it wouldn’t go without againFirst let me say that with a 60 day no questions asked money back guarantee and lifetime warrantee, airlift is a no-brainer if you want airbags. I wish I would have installed these years ago when I first bought a four wheeler and hauled it in the back of the truck. We were buying a TT, a bit on the large side for a Tundra @ 8k lbs. GVWR, and I did not want to worry about understeer or extreme squat. I’m moderately mechanically inclined and it took me right at two hours for install with tire removal and reinstallation. I installed the valves under the gas cap at the recommendation of a friend. With certain compressors, the angle needed to fill them there was tough. Amazon sells a low price solution though, so now it’s no issue. I originally installed both valves, but I have since ordered and installed the T-union and now only use one valve. I recommend doing this up front. Chasing matching PSI readings can be a challenge. As for the ride, I actually like that the truck feels more solid with the airbags. We daily with them around 10 PSI and tow with them in the 50-60 PSI range. Having driven my trailer on the maiden voyage from Ohio to Idaho (yes we went through Iowa too), being able to adjust when road conditions changed was really helpful. I don’t know how you Midwesterners deal with those roller coaster roads of yours, but I digress. If you are towing and don’t mind a bit stiffer ride, I highly recommend these, but get the T-union up front.I bought this to get the "squat" out of my truck when loaded with my trailer. I drive a half ton and haul a 6500 lb travel trailer. Needless to say I get a huge drop when I load 650-800 lbs onto my truck. The airbags definitely help reduce some of the squat and take some of the bounce out. Just be sure to measure the squat when loaded on level ground and then inflate the bags to reduce the amount of squat.Very easy to install. The hardest part was cutting my truck's built in bounce jounce. I thought I could just remove it but this kit needs part of the jounce for support.Overall a great product. We had to return and reorder a few times to get a working pair, but they installed well and work fine. We tow a 30' camper with a tundra and these have made a difference in the handling and ride when towing. This is my second set because I’ve traded my truck and installed a new set. Easy installation and I like the fact that you don’t require any air in them when you don’t have a load in the truck as they have an internal bounce umlike other air bag systems where you require at least 5 psi in them.Didn’t sit on the frame as nice as the firestone model does for my TundraBon produit facile à installer, vidéo YouTube. Satisfait de rendement fonctionne bien!I'm sure they would work great with a loaded vehicle but 95% of the time my truck is empty. So I sent them back because they made my truck ride so rough with no load.Stiffens up truck amazing for heavy loads, when no loads in truck lower pressure or ride is rough, great product, easy to install
