Although this fan does exactly what the description states, be careful when you open it to access the sponge filter. I had to give this product such a high rating because it does everything it's supposed to do. Battery life is good, it's lite weight and it does cool. I took one star because hen you open the compartment to remove the sponge filter to wet or clean, all the parts fall apart. The only thing holding the parts together is that compartment door. I bought two of these and they were on sale for $6-something and to be honest, I really wish I had just sent them back.My English Mastiff has one ear that repeatedly becomes infected (bacterial and/or fungal). I clean his ears every day as maintenance and prevention. The repeatedly-infecting ear often seems wet deep into the canal. We use a variety of products/treatments to help his ear dry. Still, with his big old ear flap, moisture builds. I decided to try to promote or help his ear dry with an air dryer and started hunting for one that might work. Requirements included: minimal noise, cordless and easily portable, lightweight for very easy use, and gentle air flow (I don't want to damage his ear drum).I had felt an eyelash fan and thought it probably would meet my requirements. I hesitated to buy this fan because the reviews indicate (to me) minimal quality control in the fans' production. Thus, I thought I had equal chances of getting a fan that works (and continues to work) or getting a fan that doesn't work or breaks in very little time. Based on the price, I decided to risk getting a "lemon" dryer. I did NOT, however, get a defective fan. I bought the fan in December 2019; it continues to work and is used about 2 to 5 times a week. I have successfully recharged it several times. (I recharge before it goes dead, but I don't know if doing so has made a difference.)This is okay for lash extensions. It’s not very powerful or very pointed. But it works. It’s kind of big to be mobile friendly if you travel to your clients a lot.Came with it’s own charger and neck hanger. The best little fan. I use this to dry my face or to dry my eyelash extension it’s the greatest tool.Life saver. Decided to do my own lashes and this is a definite must have to fan off the fumes.I use this product to dry my eyelash extensions after I wash my face. It does the job and it’s small and easy to carry around! Highly recommend.Perfect for refreshing the eye when Lashes application
